Created in 1961, ELISAVA is the leading design school created in Spain and delivers an innovative, creative, cross-disciplinary range of education and research services that are closely aligned with the professional world. It works extensively with companies, institutions and universities at local, national and international levels.

ELISAVA is a learning centre affiliated to Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), and offers official degrees in Design, Engineering Building and Engineering in Industrial Design developed by the European Space for Higher Education. It also provides professional graduate programmes, including Spain's first official Master's Degree in Design & Communication, as well as specialist design courses for professionals and companies.
